County Fair

This year the county fair lined up nicely with Aubrey's b-day (it might in the future too) and so we took that excuse to go (we didn't really need one, but it's fun to say we are celebrating). When we had gone to Draper Days back in July, they had this thing that looked like fun but the line was forever long, so we didn't. But they had it at the fair too and the wait was much shorter. It's called Bubble Rollers. Basically they are in hamster balls that are plastic balls filled with air and then they are in a shallow pool so it's extremely hard to move (no traction!). Pretty much equals hilarious. Both kids did it, though Trevor went back and forth. It was great fun to watch.
Aub's onesie has a "1" bleached in, in honor of the big day.

This is how they blew them up

Rachel got an extra long turn and she used it all! She was sweaty at the end

Trevor's turn!

Trevor cut his turn a little short because he got a little scared. Plus you can't hear except muffled sounds and it was making him anxious. Proud of him for trying!

The petting zoo was free and then you can buy little cups of food. Aubrey doesn't care for the animals. This was out of her comfort zone.

Trevor sometimes gets scared and throws the food down but he was trying to be brave

Rach is a pro at this

The goats sure knew what kids to pick on (smaller ones!)

A cute face and strong will gets you a lot in this world. That was the bigger kids' apple. Was.

It's not the big yellow slide (State Fair) but it will do...Trevor's turn

Rachel's turn. The kids went one at a time rather than side by side. Goofs.
Though parking was $1.75 and admission was free, we still managed to spend. Though we kept them to one ride and a small treat. Always fun to walk around and see the animals too.

The hamster balls look AWESOME!! Maybe they'll have them at the state fair so Will can try it out!
